Located at the eastern end of Saga Prefecture
Official website →Located at the eastern end of Saga Prefecture, on Kyushu Island, Kiyama Brewery was founded at the beginning of the Meiji era by an association of landowners passionate about the art of sake. This initiative attracted several local wealth holders, leading in 1920 to the official establishment of Kiyama Shoten company, a key player in sake production in the region.
Today, Kiyama Shoten highlights Saga’s natural resources. By using pure water from the Sefuri and Kiyama mountains, as well as the unique climate of this region, the brewery produces refined and authentic sakes that perfectly capture the essence of their unique terroir, thus respecting Japanese sake traditions.
