About the Producer

What We Love

Sachihime Brewery was founded in 1934 in Kashima City, Saga. The name Sachihime, ‘princess of happiness’ in Japanese, was chosen by the master brewer in honor of his daughter. Historically, the prefecture was renowned for rice production, and it was therefore logical that the art of sake developed there.

Their Expertise

“We strive to produce sakes to be happily enjoyed during meals.” – Sachihime Brewery

Their quest for a fresh and balanced taste has been repeatedly rewarded on the international stage, notably at the IWC competition in Great Britain. Sachihime Brewery welcomes visitors from all over the world, offering a unique experience with tastings of homemade sakes and an original non-alcoholic sake ice cream, demonstrating their creativity and commitment to excellence.
